Project Elements: ADW Architects is working with the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department to design their new University City Division Station. This station will be located in the UNC-Charlotte area directly adjacent to the light rail. The station will be a two-story, 16,000 s.f. facility designed to support state of the art police operations. Site amenities include a secure parking lot with 132 parking spaces and several pockets of urban pedestrian space along the two streets the station fronts.
