(2) Construction Contract Administrator - 15 to 25 years of professional experience in the construction industry to fill positions in our Charlotte and Raleigh offices. Candidates must possess the understanding of construction documents and construction contract administration including knowledge of codes, construction methods, use of materials and assemblies. Candidate must also be available to travel throughout the North Carolina and South Carolina Region and will be subject to the physical demands necessary on a construction site. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook is required. CSI Certified Construction Contract Administrator and familiarity with Revit, CAD, and Bluebeam are a plus. This position is a tremendous opportunity for someone who is motivated and driven, to collaborate with our Principals and project teams while maintaining the firm’s reputation through construction. This is not strictly an office job but does require some administrative skills. This a hard hat wearing, boots on the ground of the construction site position, while working hand in hand with the contractors.
(2) Licensed Project Architects - 11 to 20 years of professional experience in the field of Architecture to fill project leadership positions in our Charlotte and Raleigh offices. Experience with the entire process of project delivery is a must. The ideal applicant shall be able to manage all aspects of a significant project including design collaboration, building code compliance, client management, consultant coordination, drawings production, quality control, and project schedules. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Revit and Bluebeam is required. A Bachelor Degree from an accredited institution in Architecture and a license to practice Architecture is required.
(1) Architectural Designer - We are seeking an Architectural Designer for our Charlotte office with 3-5 years of practical experience in architectural design. The ideal candidate will bring creativity and innovation to collaborate on conceptual designs for buildings, including floor plans, site planning, exterior aesthetics, and interior spaces. The role requires aligning designs with client goals and programmatic requirements, while demonstrating a strong understanding of material use. Must have the ability to Utilize Revit, Bluebeam, SketchUp, Lumion, Rhino, and CAD software for design and presentations. A Bachelor Degree from an accredited institution in Architecture is required. A professional license to practice architecture is a plus.
(1) Marketing & Communications Specialist - We are seeking a dynamic and creative Marketing & Communications specialist to fill a position in our Charlotte Office to help guide and grow our firmwide marketing strategy. This is an opportunity to step into a diverse role for a growing company, shape the way we tell our story, and help us share the innovative and meaningful work we do across multiple markets. As ADW’s Marketing & Communications Specialist, you’ll be at the center of our storytelling and growth. From branding and content creation to social media strategy, you will drive the firm’s external and internal communications. This role is perfect for someone who combines strategic insight with creative implementation, emphasizing innovation, collaboration, and measurable impact.
Key Responsibilities for Marketing & Communications Specialist:
Lead marketing and communications initiatives that strengthen ADW’s brand across multiple sectors.
Manage firmwide content strategy including website, social media, e-newsletters, and thought leadership pieces.
Engage with leadership on client relationships, business development, and strategic communications.
Oversee proposal strategy and positioning (without being solely focused on production).
Create visually compelling collateral that reflects ADW’s creative energy.
Support internal communications that keep our team inspired, informed, and connected.
Coordinate with leadership on planning for conferences, sponsorships, and industry events.
Qualifications:
A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, or related field – OR 5+ years of experience in marketing/communications (AEC industry experience preferred)
Familiarity with industry standards for proposals, pursuits, and client presentations.
Strong portfolio of written and/or designed work showcasing creativity and impact.
