Project Elements: ADW was hired to help develop a new master plan for a parks and recreation center for an underserved location in a booming town in North Carolina. The program includes 3 full basketball courts, exercise tracks, weigh and cardio areas, pickle ball courts, splash pad, indoor and outdoor banquet space, indoor and outdoor classroom space, outdoor amphitheater as well as many other exciting features. The current building program is over 80,000 s.f. and located on 2 levels, built into an existing hillside with beautiful views of a wooded greenway.
